A Hands-On Symposium in Pediatrics

November 4–5, 2026 — Kathmandu Symposium

Over the course of the week, Integrative Health Global (IHG) will partner with local hospitals across Nepal to deliver a hands‑on training symposium in pediatric integrative care. In partnership—and with deep gratitude to our local colleagues—IHG is collaborating to establish culturally attuned programs that complement existing hospital services and reflect the unique needs of each community.

Throughout the symposium, IHG will facilitate knowledge‑exchange sessions for clinical staff and provide direct integrative therapy demonstrations for pediatric patients and caregivers. Sessions emphasize safe, evidence‑informed, and culturally sensitive approaches, including acupressure, aromatherapy, breathing techniques, caregiver‑supported relaxation, and acupuncture when appropriate.

A central goal of this initiative is to build lasting capacity—empowering local healthcare teams with practical skills and frameworks they can continue using long after the symposium concludes. We are deeply grateful to our hospital partners for their collaboration and commitment to advancing integrative pediatric care in Nepal.
